Born and raised on Vancouver Island, Embeth has roots connected to the land and animals. After graduating High School in 2024, she seeks a perspective altering, hands-on experience that will allow her to spread her passion for this ecosystem, its creatures and how we all share a symbiotic relationship with them. Always teaching others and herself more about the significance of our relationship to the West Coast of Vancouver Island.
Due to being so young with such strong passion, and no Post-Secondary education… she has filled her home life with lessons and challenges that awaken that passion. From caring for lots of animals growing up, (Ducks, Chickens, Rabbits, Dogs, and loottts of Cats…) She also finds joy in being community involved with volunteering and constantly being outdoors, meeting new people and keeping an open mind toward always learning more about herself and the life around us. Embeths hobbies that reflect the beauty she sees in this world include, bird watching, hiking, kayaking, walking down mysterious forest paths
Working for RES has opened a whole new door, career wise, for Embeth. With most of her work life revolving around hospitality or customer service. This Education Coordinator Internship is allowing Embeth to prioritize exploring her passions and interests, while also exchanging valuable experience for her future dreams of continuing to work toward a greater quality of life for all animals and their homes.
