Raincoast Ecology Walks
Every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday in July!

Learn about the rainforest and intertidal ecosystems of the area!
Meet at Cox Bay, on the beach, in front of Long Beach Lodge Resort.


Plankton Tuesdays

Every Tuesday in July
2 - 3pm
Discover the microscopic world of plankton and their role in the marine ecosystem!
Meet at the Raincoast Office, in the Tofino Botanical Gardens (1084 Pacific Rim Hwy)


Beach Seines

Tuesday July 3 &  July 17;
Wednesday, August 1 & August 15
10 -11:30am 
Explore intertidal eelgrass meadows and learn about the animals that live in this important habitat!
Meet on the beach at Tofino Sea Kayaking (320 Main St.)

Interested in the rich natural landscape of Clayoquot Sound? Our expert guides draw on both scientific and cultural perspectives to provide you a unique understanding of the globally significant ecosystems of the region. The programs are free, and donations are always appreciated. Please dress appropriately, with good footwear. These programs will run rain or shine.
