The Raincoast Education Society is partnering with the Wild Pacific Trail to offer some free programming during Spring Break this year!

 

Raincoast Walk

Tuesday March 12, 10:00 - 11:30 am

Come learn about local ecology and the connection between the land and the sea, with Raincoast Education Society biologist. Meet at the Whale Lot (Lighthouse Loop). Rain or shine!

 

Kids and Family Rainforest Scavenger Hunt

Thursday March 14, 10:00 - 11:30 am

Use your senses to discover some of the amazing plants and animals that live in the Coastal Temperate Rainforest. Meet Raincoast Education Society staff at Big Beach pavilion. Rain or shine!

 

Whale Spotting

Sunday March 17, 10:00 - 12:00 pm

Join us along with naturalists from Pacific Rim National Park Reserve to learn fun whale facts and use the spotting scopes for a chance to observe them from the Amphitrite Lighthouse. This free drop-in event is part of a week long celebrations for Whale Week.
