Fall Fundraiser
Please help us keep the Raincoast Field School program running through 2020 and beyond; make a donation during our matching campaign this September!
Our Ask
We are reaching out to ask for your support to help us ensure Field School remains a key component of the educational experience that children in our community can count on.
For the month of September every dollar also doubles. Donations up to a total of $35,000 will be matched by Long Beach Lodge Resort and two very generous community members. Help us reach our matching goal! Donations made online through the link above will be processed by Clayoquot Biosphere Trust to ensure that the RES receives 100% of donations with no overhead or transaction fees.
Donate online by clicking here or by cheque.

Raincoast Field School
No program is closer to our heart than Raincoast Field School, through which we engage over 500 students, running up to 200 field trips per year. When schools closed this past spring, we shifted to offer twice-weekly online programming filmed right here at home, keeping kids excited and engaged with interactive videos, scavenger hunts, and homework challenges. Field School is a unique opportunity for students in our elementary schools to learn about science and stewardship in a stimulating, hands-on way, right in their own backyard. It’s the kind of program you won’t find anywhere else! Since it began in 2006, Raincoast Field School has been entirely funded by the RES, offered to every single student in every single class (K-7) at no cost to their parents, their teachers, or the school. We are only able to run this program with the generous support of our donors – local businesses and individuals who care about what we do and support us in our mission year after year.
