National Forest Week

Our second annual #NationalForestWeek Field Trip!⁠ ⁠ This morning we teamed up with Tracy Andrews (registered forester with the BC Forest Practices Board) for the National Forest Week event. We also had Emily Beeson from Central Westcoast Forest Society and Carry Cunneyworth the manager of culture and heritage from Yuulu?il?ath Government join to share their knowledge of forest practices and archeology. ⁠ ⁠ The grade 5 students of UES joined us for a day on the Wild Pacific Trail to learn about sustainability and different jobs associated with the forest industry. ⁠ ⁠ Ukee Field School is off to a great start!⁠
