Stephanie Hughes, Instructor for Small Town, Big Picture: Tofino
“I have lived in Tofino more than half of my life – I moved here at the age of 17 in the early 90″s and most of that time has been spent as a professional Tree-Climber. I have worked in Old-growth trees for the better part of my adult life and it has shaped who I am, my beliefs, ethics, and personal truth. The work has mainly focused on research and the discovery of temperate and tropical rainforest canopy species and information, to further our understanding of diversity and inform governance choices.”
