West Coast Ambassador Program
The West Coast Ambassador Program is a FREE educational program that empowers citizens in the Clayoquot and Barkley Sound regions to participate knowledgeably and responsibly in shaping a vibrant, sustainable future. By cultivating a shared sense of pride and community, and supporting the well-being and diversity of local businesses, the program encourages a positive, inclusive attitude while deepening understanding of our shared role in caring for our regions… and beyond!
Who is the program for?
The courses are open to all local residents, including seasonal staff, newcomers, and business owners. They focus on Tofino and Ucluelet — their past, present, ecologies, vibrant business communities, festivals and events, opportunities, and much more. The courses explore how to be responsible residents of these incredible places and how to share that knowledge with visitors.
How do I register?
It’s simple! Choose from the courses and dates below, rsvp and add to your calendar.
