StoryMaps
Showcasing local sustainability efforts
The Raincoast Education Society is exited to have been part of the ongoing West Coast NEST project, Sustainable Development in the Clayoquot Biosphere Region. A project using the ArcGis platform to develop StoryMaps that showcase all the amazing sustainability work being done in our region while inspiring further efforts.
The Raincoast Education Society have created two StoryMaps, one on Tracking Shorebird research and the most recent Klahowya!, where we begin to explore Tla-o-qui-aht place names with Gisele, an Indigenous guardian from ƛaʔuukʷiʔatḥ / Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation.
